Shipping and Returns
Aside from the case of items damaged in shipping or other extenuating circumstances that may genuinely justify an exception to the rule, all sales of artwork are final and no returns or exchanges will be made.
Please note that I have thought about this at great length and do not take it lightly. Original prints differ from normal consumer goods, and rights of exchange and return we may otherwise expect in daily life do not apply in the same way.
Likewise, digital publications do not qualify for refunds, as there is no way to guarantee that the item is not retained by the original buyer.
If you have a problem with your order, please contact me with your order number and details about the problem. I will respond as quickly as I can.
The return policy will be updated if/when I begin selling anything that requires different policies.
In general, prints can be shipped to virtually any address in the world. However, please note that, depending on the size of the item and the location of the shipping address, shipping costs may vary greatly. This is especially true of larger prints that may require special packaging to keep them safe and undamaged in transit.
At the moment, all open edition prints are shipped from San Antonio, Texas. Limited editions and one-off prints ship from Saitama, Japan.
For items shipped within the US, a range of carriers may be used. For items shipped from Japan, Japan Post EMS will generally be used, except in cases that require a different carrier (oversized items, etc).
